Uncontrollable puking?

Has anyone ever experienced totally out of control puking before? A couple of days ago, my friends and I were going down the walk towards our intended movie store, and I suddenly stopped dead in my tracks. I had a really strange feeling, like as if my stomach was ever so gently crawling up my throat. At least, that's how it began. A short moment later I lost control of everything except my mind. I hunched over, feeling as if i were in a room with 360 degree gravity and my body being unzipped. What happened next was an unhinging, blood curdling yell/scream, followed by nothingness. I wanted to tell my friends that i had no idea what was happening, but suddenly i was overtaken with an involuntary lung full of air, which was expelled just as unwillingly as it was taken. This time the air coming out was wetter. I launched my stomach contents a good twenty feet. I continued this involuntary heaving and launching for at least a minute. I couldn't breathe how i wanted. I couldn't stop. I nearly fainted afterward because i was so light headed. I felt great directly after despite the vomit i tasted. It happened so fast. I don't recall eating anything strange or feeling under par at all prior. Nor do i remember feeling anything but great after. What could cause this random spew?

I have two internal hard drives each with several partitions on them. I am looking for a freeware that will display the usage and location of the files on the partitions over both drives. I need to lose 20-40lbs by July 4 and August 24 maybe lose half in each of the deadlines,because I have to go to my bratty cousins who is like stick skinny and is really mean and well she weighs like 80lbs the last time I saw her(that was 2-4 years ago) and I weigh 140lbs. I eat 1 bowl of Rasian(or however u spell it) Bran for breakfast,a salad for lunch and w/e is cooked for dinner unless its not healthy or I dont like it then i have a salad.I usually dance around the house and do this machine thing and magazine workouts(I get them at the library) and I walk my dogs,swim for 2-6 hours a day play basketball(I'll be playing a lot more since my cousin is coming over I think tomorrow and hes staying for about a week) I just run around chasing my little kitties around the yard for a long time and I practice pitching outside and chasing the down.I only get on the computer for about 1-3 hours a day and thats mostly at night. I get in my bed at 9pm and draw til 9:30pm and then go to bed

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS?

I have a bit of a weird problem, I live at home with my mom (basically due to my own personal health issues.) We used to have a real good friendship/relationship but it saddens me to say that for the last few years our relationship has taken a real decline due to me being cyber buddies, this particular cyber buddy shares the same interests as me (we have no intention ever in meeting up because we realise it is for the best that we stay just virtual) - this suits both of us because I am a wheelchair user and my buddy is not aware of me needing this mode of transport, I have not told him I use one because I do not feel he has to know. We chat every alternative night using a downloaded messenger package, we also talk on the telephone every day (we both pay for our own mobiles once a month, so we are not having to rely on the land-line telephone to communicate on. Instead of being happy for me, mom seems to be very annoyed by this so called friendship, in actual fact even though I take the calls in my bedroom she still seems real pi**ed off by this ociation. She calls him s and when I told her I have said hi to his mom, my own mom went again crazy. Am not sure why, I have tried to ask her but it usually escalates into a full-blown argument, with a lot of verbal abuse and violence coming from my mom. In actual fact, at one time I was having to have my calls outside and when it was too cold to go outside I had to give my cyber buddy an alias so mom thought I was talking to somebody else. I gotta admit i hated living with this web of lies and deceit so in the end I told my mom was it ok for me to call up my cyber buddy (she thought the cyber buddy was out of my life, even though they wasn't) - she agreed but did not agree whole-hearted. I have talked about this problem with a few close friends and they see nothing wrong with it. Mom says it makes her lose all interest in herself and that it makes her very depressed, and the most sick thing is she says she will get her own back, when I questioned her on this, she was busy telling me about a time she was present an opportunity to run over my late father's mistress as mom was in the car, when the mistress was crossing over to the other side of the car park to get into her car, mom continued to say she turned up the cd player at full volume, opened the windows and revved the engine. I must say I remember this incidence clearly even though I was only six at the time, it was real scary and had no clue at the time who it was or why my 'sweet dear' mom was acting in this manner. She also said today if she had still been working in the health industry and if the new wife had presented herself in hospital, mom would have made sure she had left the hospital with more injuries than she had come in with and as she concluded she would have escaped any form of punishment because all health workers stick together. This made me feel both disgusted and indeed sickened to the pit of my stomach to hear that my so called loving and caring mom could talk in this way. I know it was wrong of my dad to leave the family home for this woman, but that was his choice and also revenge is never the answer, even though it might make the hurt party feel better at the time, its only a short term answer. The real solution is continue living your life to the full and making sure you always look your best. But going back to my own situation, I feel so afraid and totally torn, I feel as if I am split in two, because I so want a good relationship with my mom (we all know you only ever have one true mom in life) but I also want to be able to have my phone calls. Even as I am writing this, I can hear her saying from the other room she does not want me in the car, she does not even want me in the house and that she hates me even worse and I have only myself to blame by having my calls, as there is no need for them in her eyes. I hate the pain I make and bring to my mom as she seems to be so distressed by all of this, but I feel that I am doing no harm. Both myself and my cyber buddy are single and live with our moms, we never chat in a ual sense, we just chat on the things we have done that day, books we are reading, films we are watching, food and drinks we like, favourite actors and actresses. It seems rather boring I know but we like it. Mom has just revealed she feels she has her a son-in-law that she hates and she would rather disown me for good than to ever like him. She also claims he is not a good person, when she knows nothing about him and in actual fact she has even wished him ill health and some times she has even said she wanted him dead so then I will have nobody, because even if I did get rid off him out of my life, there is no way she is going to let me (in her words) 'worm my way back into her affections, and my place in the family is lost forever because of my choice I have made.' Insomnia causing binge eating?

I am a 62 year old woman and never had trouble falling asleep. NO new meds nor life style changes and long past menopause. When I can't fall asleep I have been going on incredible eating binges. even though I am not hungry nor do I have a food craving at this time and I don't want to eat but I can't stop. I know this is weird but it is almost like I am being forced to eat. This happens when I have trouble falling asleep.

25 weeks pregnant and sick, should I go to the emergency room?

I am 25 weeks pregnant and for the past 2 days I have been ill. Yesterday, I went to my family doctor because I have a severe cough and chest congestion, which I thought was the beginning of a respiratory infection. She didn't seem too concerned and she told me it looked like the start of bronchitis but the infection was still in my sinuses. She gave me a prescription of amoxicilin. When I was at the appointment, the only symptom I had was the coughing and congestion. I went home and took a nap and when I woke up I had a sore throat, wheezing, ear ache, and a fever of 101, which I did not have when I went to the doctor. I have had a persistent fever ever since along with chills and sweating. I was also up during the night vomiting. I am having difficulty eating because when I do I feel like I am going to vomit. I went to the grocery store yesterday and a gallon of store brand was $5.89 and I live in Florida! I was shocked at how high the price was. I rarely buy it as my dad has orange trees and we juice our own, but I couldn't believe the price. I know it could be because of the freezes we've had down here, but goodness. Hi, I think most people could probably fill a notepad full of things they would change if they could turn back time.But a few things i really regret and wish i could turn back time for would be,I wish i had stuck in at school and ped some of my exams but at the time you think you know everything and dont need to go to school(big mistake),I wish i had seen a bit more of the world before getting married at 19 years old(i am still married age 35 years old),I wish my parents werent such bad people then and now,and i really wish i had kept in touch with some of my friends from years ago.Im going to stop now because i think i could keep going all day then everyone would fall asleep and that would be another thing i wish i could change.

my periods aren't always regular, and the last period i had was 33-34 days ago. i have been using the pull out method and thought i ovulated around 15 days ago, when i had a clear little stretchy discharge. since then my dc has been kind of thin, creamy white until this evening i notice it is clear and very stretchy (something i rarely notice when i ovulate), i have been extremely tired the past week or so, sleeping way more than usual, had headaches, been constipated, with a dull achy lower back ache and on and off "cramps" (not sure if its gas or from constipation or pms). the past few days i also notice myself burping alot, which is unusual; ive been slightly to sometimes very nauseated almost constantly for close to a week, and every time i try and smoke a cigarette i gag. ive also felt overall achy and my nose has been a little congested. so i may just have a bug, the only other thing ive noticed as odd is my vision has been a little blurry. im not sure if im just worried and imagining things or i could be pregnant. im going to get a test soon, but im afraid of the results. my only child is almost 3 and ive been struggling to have the energy to care for her this week. any and all guidance would really help me get a better nights sleep- as long as these crazy dreams stop. please help.

The house caught fire and burned down. I received a response from their insurance company denying liability and compensation. I feel the property owner is liable for neglecting to tell me not to use the fireplace. Any thoughts on boat length and engine(s) related to gas usage?

My wife and I are looking to buy a boat. We're both teachers and have the summers off (not to mention a full week in fall, 2 weeks in winter, and another week in the spring). We've been looking for a cruiser in the 27' to 30' range. The bigger the boat the better, but we're also wary that a larger boat may be much more expensive to operate. We're also leaning towards twin engines, though we expect that they will use more gas. We've read that it's not quite double the gas, but we do expect expenses (oil changes, etc.) to be more with twins. Does anyone have any experience with moving up in size who could give us some basic ideas on what we could expect gas usage to be at different lengths and engines? Most of our use will be cruising to a cove and anchoring, though we would like to take some week-long trips down the TN River every now and then. Will we save a lot of $ with a 27' compared to a 30'? Could food poisoning cause this?

Ok I woke up monday morning with a sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, typical cold symptoms, and nauseous as can be. I went to the doctor, they did a test for strep throat, it came back negative but they did a blood test because I had strep symptoms. It came back that I had elevated white blood cells so it was probably something like strep and they gave me antibiotics. Today I'm feeling much better (my throat still hurts and i'm a bit congested but I don't feel as sick) and I've talked to the people I had dinner with sunday night. Apparently they all spent the evening throwing up and thought it was food poisoning. Is it possible the food poisoning is what elevated my white blood cell levels and I don't really need the antibiotics? Should I go back to the doctor?

Ok so my cat has been acting strange lately and it actually has me a little worried. I've had her since she was a weened kitten and she just turned 6 this month. She has always been a very social loving friendly cat loves attention that sort of thing. But lately it seems like she is losing her mind, literally. Nothing has changed about her home enviroment except my step daughter has started visiting more ( but as I said, my cat loves the attention) her liter box hasn't moved I haven't changed her diet nothing. So here's how she's acting weird. She's started sleeping sitting up. I know I know before you say it that's not the weird part. What is weird is while she's sleeping like this she just falls suddenly. She has fallen off the counter where her dishes are (which she never used to sleep near her food, another weird thing) she's fallen off the couch, the bannister railing she likes to sit on. Also, for some reason she started pooping in my fireplace. She won't pee in it just poop and she started peeing on the couch. Her liter box is still in its same place and still cleaned once a day just like it has been for 6 years. Also she isn't as social as she once was. When people come in she just waltzes to my room and hides till there gone, including when my husband comes in. She isn't as talkative as she used to be. All in all her overall demeanor is different (which I know can come with age) but what about the other odd things? Also she started kind of walking to her side. She just had a vet check up last month and was utd on her shots but this just started happening this week. Any thoughts?
