Here is another joke I made up. Is it a good one?

A little girl comes home from school sad and scared she's going to get a because of the grades she made on her report card. Now she came home early from school because she found a shortcut. As she entered the front door she heard her dad from upstairs say "By the time I get in that room you better have your pants down and ready". I didn't take off of work early for this. After hearing this the girl went up to the room as she instructed to do and once she got on her bed she started sobbing. A few minutes later the girls father walks past her room and notices her on the bed crying. The father asks, "Why are you crying"? The girl explains the whole thing. Then the father chuckles. I wasn't talking about you Cindy. I was talking to your mother.
