Christians would Jesus have been nicer to the Pharisees if they would have just claim imperfection like you do?
Jesus never condemned them for not being imperfect, but for their lack of humility, and the extra burdens they put on the people they where suppose to have been taking care of spiritually - entrusted to them by God. I particularly love three scriptures in Matthew (in fact there are many in this chapter that start off the same way), because Jesus doesn’t beat around the bush when speaking to them. My first favorite is in Matthew 23:13 “Woe to YOU, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because YOU shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men; for YOU yourselves do not go in, neither do YOU permit those on their way in to go in” and my second and third are in the same Chapter 13 of Matthew vs. 27 and 28 “Woe to YOU, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because YOU resemble whitewashed graves, which outwardly indeed appear beautiful but inside are full of dead men’s bones and of every sort of uncleanness. 28 In that way YOU also, outwardly indeed, appear righteous to men, but inside YOU are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.“of whitewashed graves, which outwardly indeed appear beautiful but inside are full of dead men’s bones and of every sort of uncleanness." Jesus never looked at man’s imperfection but the heart condition of people. Just remember when the leaper left the leaper colony to see if Jesus would cure him, did Jesus condemn him, no! Jesus cured him and sent him on his way. I hope I was able to help.
